David co-founded Enstar in 1995 and has served as Chief Executive Officer since its inception. His career spans engineering management, complex contract negotiations, startup leadership, and corporate advisory work across both the US and UK, with earlier roles including senior management at a medical device company.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and an MA from the University of London.

At Enstar, David's primary focus has been product innovation and the identification of emerging technology opportunities — from early internet ventures through to the development of clearString, Enstar's enterprise business application platform. He has also advised clients on the integration of internet technologies into existing business models.

Beyond Enstar, David serves as President of the SharedImpact Foundation, a US and UK-registered organization that connects donors and impact investment funds to provide sustainable financing for charities and nonprofits — including cross-border giving structures that are rare at this scale. He is also founder of the HPT Foundation, focused on public access to open space and trails.

Bob co-founded Enstar in 1995 and has been the principal architect and technical lead of the company's software development from the outset. He holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Information Systems, Management, and Psychology from the University of Leeds, and has been a committee member of the BCS Internet Specialist Group — the UK's leading professional IT body — since 1998.

Prior to Enstar, Bob founded Solution Software, where he led the design and commercialization of a series of enterprise software products. That experience established the foundation for his subsequent work at Enstar, where he has spent three decades building production-grade software systems delivered over the internet.

His technical work has encompassed accounting systems, CRM platforms, database architecture, and web application development — with major corporations among the adopters of systems he has designed and delivered.

Bob's current and primary focus is the clearString platform: the architecture, the component engine that underpins it, and its ongoing development as an enterprise business application system.
